I made eight 6″ diameter (2-3″ height) cakes to build this candle. 4 cakes were lemon flavored with a lemon-raspberry curd and the other 4 cakes were banana-pineapple flavored. I used a cream cheese frosting tinted slightly yellow. My husband helped me make the support base to keep my cakes from toppling over. It was heavy and had to be carried on the lap to ensure the whole thing wouldn’t topple during transport.
